Insubria, INGV, Ispra and Unisa together to investigate the effects of subsidence in Como urban area

We are happy to announce that recently the Italian Space Agency (ASI) has granted us the access to Cosmo-SkyMed images over the city of Como (northern Italy) in order to investigate the effects of subsidence on the city centre using recent InSAR measurements.

This project involves experts from four different research institutes: Nicoletta Nappo, Maria Francesca Ferrario, Franz Livio and Alessandro Maria Michetti from PeriGeo group at University of Insubria; Marco Polcari, Marco Moro and Salvatore Stramondo from Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV); Valerio Comerci from Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA); Dario Peduto from Department of Civil Engineering at University of Salerno (Unisa).
